Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and wonderful food. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Ekhtir also organised a fantastic speed boat trip to see a huge pod of dolphins and to snorkel with amazing colourful fish. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

A wonderful stay full of kindness and magic! We had an amazing experience at Afaq Guest House! The host was incredibly flexible and kind — we had accidentally booked two apartments, and he kindly canceled one for free just two days before our arrival. He also arranged a delicious dinner even though we confirmed only 50 minutes before getting there! Everything was spotless, and both dinner and breakfast were homemade and delicious. Our kids absolutely loved the experience — the host showed us the glowing light plankton at night, rescued little turtles crossing the road, and even arranged a last-minute night tour to see the big turtles on the beach. He was friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Afaq Guest House felt like staying with friends — we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman!

I especially want to highlight the staff, who were extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.

Friendly reception staff, very spacious rooms, clean. Geyser tank for hot water. Easy parking and access to Ras Al Jinz or Ras al Hadd beaches (the one near Turtle Beach Resort) a short drive away. Nearby beaches behind the hotel weren't recommended. Good value for money, simple hotel and no issues.

Neat and clean place with a sparkling pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking right outside the door. It's about a 800m walk to the beach with lovely yellow sand. Staff were able to book tours and excursions if needed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
