I arrived late in the evening so didn't really get to fully enjoy the log cabin, but the short time I was there was so lovely and make me wish that I had more time to spend there, and that I'd considered more stays at Top 10 Holiday Parks during my time in NZ. Clean, quiet, comfortable.

Good to have my breakfast ready for me in the fridge of the kitchenette attached to my room to enjoy as early or late as I wished. Perfect location to experience the tranquillity of the countryside. It was lovely to meet the hosts and I had a lovely 2-night stay.

On our tour of the South Island of New Zealand , we needed a place to stay overnight, south of Queenstown. We stayed overnight, but had we known what wonderful cottage Sheena and Duncan had created, we would certainly have stayed longer. They immediately made us feel at home and the cottage has all the amenities you can imagine and on top of that is as sustainable as it gets. An inspiring example of the use water from rainfall and renewable energy to operate a self sustaining home. The view from the cottage is phenomenal and ‘a sky full of stars’ has a new meaning for us now.

Wow! It was an incredibly lovely stay with Zoe. So hospitable and lovely hostess. The flat was very clean and we felt at home. If you're looking for a quiet location on the edge of the forest, this is perfect. Zoe tipped us off to eat at Athol Shop and it was incredibly delicious!

Great location, right on the cycle trail and a short walk to the Athol shop. The apartment was cosy and had everything we needed for our family group. Friendly and informative host. We loved the tranquil setting and swimming at the nearby river.
