Nice quiet place away from noises of roads, among mountains,trees, sheep,cows,& specially fully detox as no mobile network. We great time with nature. Not to forget the night sky,we specially got up at 1.00 a.m. just to witness amazing display of stars , we saw shooting stars as well. This property is highly recommended for a family stay for atleast 2 nights

So close to Tekapo but just out of the hustle and bustle , picturesque location. Very cool full tiny home vibes, this wagon had everything we needed. The cute animal visitors were a welcome surprise in the morning.

Property is in a very good location, around a nice 10 min walk into the town area/ the famous church. Lovely view from the room out on to the lake and if you’re lucky enough to be on the 2nd floor there is a skylight where you can view the stars. A nice touch. Breakfast also good. You order what you want so little wastage, which is a good idea. The staff are also very friendly. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was very helpful with some tips on where to walk etc.

Set in Lake Tekapo, Canterbury region, Sunshine Suites is situated 46 km from Mt. Dobson. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Clean and very well equipped. Had all amenities we could have ever asked for, including a hob, laundry machine and heating in the toilet. Conveniently located within 3mins drive to the town centre. Staff were very helpful, who helped us find an ipad that we left behind so we could come back to get it the next day.
