We were delighted with this accommodation. Bus stop right outside and supermarket just 5min walk. Met some fellow travellers which added to the experience. Vasilis is a great host. Bus service in Tromso is excellent so we were able to explore easily. Very good self catering facilities which was appreciated as restaurants are quite expensive.

Everything has been perfect! The accommodation is very well located: near the city center, near the bus stop and the supermarket. The accommodation is very clean and very complete (you have everything you need). Furthermore, Vasilis has treated us wonderfully! We got to see the northern lights with him and went to see reindeers. It is a perfect place to stay in Tromso!:)

For our luck we found this place as most affordable and value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed staying for 4 days (march 2025). The host's family is the most welcoming we could ever have. Our room was fully organized with heaters, good bed/blankets/towels/wardrobes and TV off course. The house was neat and clean and we were able to cook our meal, which was the best part. The location is very near to the public bus service(selnes Skole stop) from airport and would really recommend to stay here as you can witness the fairly tale houses ,snow, some times reindeers. We booked our activities tour from host: 1. chase the northern lights( we got to see the lights for 1st visit itself, so we pay for the experienced tour guide) 2. Reindeer feeding and Fjords both the tours you will be picked from this place and drop again to this place which is the best part. We would totally, recommend for the activities also.

The place well located for chasing aurora without going to far from the town. You can absolutely see the northern light above you outside from the apartment. But during our stay the KPI index is so low KPI 1 with low Bz/nt density so its there but we couldn’t see or catch a good image.

Super clean and cozy. Especially the kitchen- fully equipped, you can find everything you need. There’s a stunning view just outside the window. I even watched the northern lights just a 2--5 minutes walk from the house. Excellent public transport. I traveled alone without a car and could easily get anywhere by bus. Highly recommend taking bus 425 heading to Ersfjordbotn. It’s just a 10-minute ride, and there’s an amazing fjord view!
