The grill house is awesome. We avoided the sky high restaurant prices, bought some salmon and veg from the supermarket and cooked it on the grill, so tasty. Dante (the beautiful snow cat) was good fun too! He loves white socks.

Very well equipped with enough kitchenware for a very comfortable stay. The furniture was very nice as well to enjoy staying inside in the winter. The deck was great for viewing the northern lights! Bathroom was nice with floor heating.

Great stay at the cottage! The fireplace added to the atmosphere. Absolutely comfortable beds. A spacious kitchen where cooking was excellent. House was also super clean! 10/10 Top!!

Exceptional place to stay. We did not want to leave anymore as it felt like home. Olivier has transcribed his love and passion for navigation and expedition into this ecolodge. It is absolutely beautiful and cosy with amazing views. On top, if you have the chance to talk to Olivier, he has great stories about his expeditions and work that we are grateful he shared with us. It is important to respect this place, which is breathing of adventures.

For our luck we found this place as most affordable and value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed staying for 4 days (march 2025). The host's family is the most welcoming we could ever have. Our room was fully organized with heaters, good bed/blankets/towels/wardrobes and TV off course. The house was neat and clean and we were able to cook our meal, which was the best part. The location is very near to the public bus service(selnes Skole stop) from airport and would really recommend to stay here as you can witness the fairly tale houses ,snow, some times reindeers. We booked our activities tour from host: 1. chase the northern lights( we got to see the lights for 1st visit itself, so we pay for the experienced tour guide) 2. Reindeer feeding and Fjords both the tours you will be picked from this place and drop again to this place which is the best part. We would totally, recommend for the activities also.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! I wish we could have stayed longer. The location is amazing, with a view to the fjord. We rented the sauna - probably one of the most impressive sauna views you will ever get to witness. We had the chance to use the sleds down the hill, which was such a fun experience. Johan was so kind and helped us with everything. He has organised the place perfectly, even providing snow shoes, torches and overall suits. We even caught a glimpse of the aurora at night :)
