This is one property you can book with your eyes closed, if you truly intend to enjoy beauty of Tromso. This place is over 70 km away from Tromso airport. Use a rental car, preferably diesel or electric one with longer range, preferably 300km and above especially during winter time. The place is serene, small settlement, where most tour operators would bring you for skiing or watching Northern lights. The apartment is there bedroom house, sufficient for a medium sized family of upto 3-4 adults and 2 children. House has fully functional kitchen, dining area for 6 and a thoughtfully designed living room. There is a curated CD collection, card and board games, and entertainment system. Wifi is strong and you can connect your phone to TV for your personal entertainment. Thus the place is excellent if you intend to enjoy indoors or outdoors, summers or winters. The most important part of this place is the hosts Odd and his wife Margareth. We reached the place around midnight. Margareth came all the way to help us with keys and show around the house. Odd is a hands on person. He helped us when breaks of our car got stuck. He kept the roads clear, with his tractor and snow-plough. The warmth of their hospitality was heartwarming. Apart from the accommodation, they also give you couple goals; how to grow old in loving companionship. Definitely recommend this place for a truly fulfilling visit in Tromso.

We are very happy that we choose Mikkelvik Brygge to explore northern Norway and spent good Christmas time with family close to nature. The property is located on a beautiful land along the coast line; with unobstructed views of the sea and neighboring islands covered in snow. Everything was well organized and clean; we booked an entire holiday home and enjoyed sightings of Northern lights right above us! We would like to specially thank Elaine, who made our stay memorable, she took us for Snowshoe hiking tour and we got to explore & admire the surroundings. We also booked the Sauna in their Viking Spa on stormy day with winds as strong as 115kmh!!! Again thanks to Elaine for preparing everything and it shows the entire teams commitment for providing their guests one of a kind experience while making sure they are comfortable and relaxed. The property offers more activities like Reindeer tours, Fjord Cruise, or Quadbike tours which should be booked in advance well in time (and probably not during Christamas). And we are surely going to come back for it :) Overall communication with Oliver, Katja and Elaine went very smooth.

It was a perfect holiday! The cottage is beautiful and really well equipped. The location is absolutely stunning. Our hosts were most welcoming and helpful! And we saw the most amazing aurora from our terrace!

Beautiful remote location, the space on the upper floor is very comfortable. We loved to sit there, lighting up the fireplace, watching the sea in front of us. Perfect polar circle vibe. The host was very kind and helpful.
