Such an amazing place! The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is a converted barn on several levels., the top floor is fairly open plan with different sections. There is a cosy living room part with corner sofa and tv, then a section with a bunk bed and two extra single beds, to the other side is a big dining table, and then in a raised section is a double bed. Down some stairs is a fully equipped kitchen, down a few more stairs is a snug with TV, gaming console and bar. On the same floor is a separate toilet and good size shower. There is also a washing machine available to use. It's hard to describe this property to properly do it justice. It is so fun and quirky with how it has been styled with old artifacts, plus lots of different lighting that helps to create a great ambience. Location wise it's fabulous, we drove into Ålesund with no issue and also explored all the various islands nearby. It is a truly beautiful part of Norway. Just a few minutes drive away you have a petrol station, takeaway pizza place and a large supermarket. If you're looking for something a little different that will bring a smile to your face I highly recommend staying here.

Host provided us with the breakfast, which was a great additional value. House itself is not big, but more than enough for a couple. And it has really nice view from the terrace. I would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything - the hotel consists of beautiful wooden houses, which have roofs covered with grass, the rooms are extremely luxurious, but with the preservation of the traditional Norwegian character. We were staying there only for one night and are very pleased with our stay there! 😊 Can highly recommend it- good value for money! Very freshly renovated house which has been painted over in white and light green colour, new wooden floor, a bunk bed for 3 people! Fresh bedding and matrases (bring your own bedding as we had our own and we are unsure if they provide for the extra charge, probably they do as camping is on a relatively high level), a kitchen table with 3 chairs, a kitchenette has everything to cook your own food, small fridge, cattle, dishes, two windows which is fantastic to have in a hot summer day, huge porch towards sun all the day - has three chairs with a table but would even fit in sun chairs. Parking is available directly near the house. Common toilets, shower and a bigger kitchen are available and are equipped with everything, fresh and clean. For the shower you need coins of 10 krona which run shower for 6 mins. Two shower cabins for women and two for men. We never experienced a queue. We have only good experience with this camping and can highly recommend it! ♥️
