We loved everything about Villa Thorse! The location, neighbourhood, beds, kitchen - everything! I cannot even begin to describe the views and the location of this place. There were six of us and the villa was perfect for us. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sofa/bed for kids was downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot, but that's because we were there when it was five days of hot sun - in the middle of summer. Won't complain though, the weather was perfect for long walks around Drøbak. Oslo was close with a car and there was a ferry going to the near Oscarsborg fortress/museum island every hour from dusk till dawn. We were supposed to stay only a couple of nights at first, but decided to extend the visit to a week (before arriving). Best choice I've ever made :) There were so much to see and do, the week felt way too short. Never felt so sad to leave a place. Thank you for everything, Ellen, We WILL be back! :))

This is a very charming hotel close to the downtown. The rooms have decent sized beds and good sized washrooms. There is a bar fridge with drinks and a coffee maker provided. A steamer is included for ironing your clothes. The restaurant is amazing. We had an excellent dinner there. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The elevator is large, unlike many places where we have stayed in Europe. Parking is available at the back of the building.

It was beautiful, from the second I got there I was beyond pleased especially with the lake view it was just unreal, considering how cheap it was of a stay in my opinion it’s a no brainer, line shown me great hospitality, making me feel comfortable and at home the whole time, giving me suggestions on what I can do during my stay, including letting me use her canoe on the lake (highly recommend the scenery was amazing), she even went out of her way to pick my friend when I had too much to drink, really nice women I’ll definitely be going in the future, so make sure to book on before I move in.
