Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors. Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about. Would definitely stay again:)

This hostel is beautifully situated on the hill , over Hellesylt, with gorgeous view of the fjord's. Parking is by the hostel. There's a kitchen , fully equipped, spacy and with view. We have had a double room with private bath and it had even own entry from the terrace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are kayaks for rent. Fair price-performance ratio.

The cabins were located in the middle of a valley, which is very picturesque. For a small cabin, it is very well equipped with the basic amenities and also kitchen utilities to be able to cook a meal for the whole cabin. The staff had sent several messages to prealert on the weather conditions and potential road closure so we had plenty time to plan our drive to this location which is very helpful!

It is a nice, quiet place in wonderful surrounding and you get really good food, the salads are great, a perfect combination for people looking for the hidden places

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is beautiful, very spacious, and decorated in a modern style – everything you need is there. The view is absolutely stunning and perfect for a relaxing break. There’s also the option to charge your car, which was super convenient. The place is a bit tricky to reach at first, but the hosts provided very clear and helpful instructions, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Highly recommend!
