The location is fantastic! We had a lot of snow. We even saw two moose in the village. Apart from that, lots of snow and well-groomed ski trails. The house has everything (unfortunately no sauna) that your heart desires.

It was a wonderful stay in mountains, lovely view. It's really nice to sit on the terrace with the breakfast, enjoying the warm weather, observing the mountain and the lake, hearing swifts and swallows. Loved it so much that extended my stay for 2 more days. Hotell's staff was very welcoming and nice, helped with hiking routes, places to visit, tips etc. I felt like every day staying there and travelling around gave me so much recovery like a week elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is situated in a quiet area, overlooking the lake - nevertheless there is a bus station and a supermarket in only 3 minutes walking distance. The house has a lot of history, we would have loved to read the history also in English, but we understood some aspects from the pictures and with Google Translate. The kitchen is so well equipped! We cooked every meal of our 10 day stay in this kitchen. Hege put on the warm blankets for us, which was very kind. We had a great time in Vingnes!
