Nice little hotel with beautiful views and grounds. Many individual areas to sit and and a hammock on the porch. Hot water for the shower . The pool was full and working. The hotel has a generater so able to function during power cuts. Good WiFi . Good communication prior to our arrival and the hotel arranged our transfer from the ferry. Very relaxing place to stay.

La Sirenita is an amazing place to stay. It is a hidden gem right on the lake. It is very peaceful with the most beautiful sunsets on the island and a great and affordable bar just next door - take a walk on the beach. It is a simple accommodation with all the basics you need. If you love nature, camping and being surrounded by animals - this is the place for you. We especially loved Moka, the dog who will follow you around and provide loads of protection. The staff were so helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and very reasonably priced. It was so affordable! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Liked everything. Sunset views were amazing looking at the volcano. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We rented an ATV, so it was ok to access the hotel.

The owner, Odelba and her family were awesome! So kind and helpful. The place has a great location to do whatever you want to do in Ometepe, very clean, solar energy, great wifi, filtered water, hammocks. All good. We loved it so much that we are staying one more full month!

Wilfredo was the man, exceptionally accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He spoke fantastic English and was always professional with a big smile. We were initially hesitant to book here because there were only a few reviews and it's a new property but we are so glad we did. It was a perfect, peaceful, private retreat. It had everything we needed, down to sugar, salt, coffee and olive oil. It felt safe and clean. The host communicated very well and made sure to check in with us. She organised a taxi for us from Moyogalpa and sent us recommendations for hikes etc. There was a lot of consideration and measures taken to prevent bugs getting in, which we appreciated. The view of Volcan Concepcion was incredible.

While the accommodation is simple, it covers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely Junior, our host. He’s warm, speaks great English, and is an excellent guide for hiking to the volcanoes. His local knowledge and friendly personality really made the experience memorable.
