Amazing place, helpful staff, very spacious rooms, super clean and perfect spot to watch the sunset and sunrise. Great to have kitchen facilities outside the room. I wish we had more time to stay for a few nights here.

Beautifully kept campsite with private bathroom that has enough hot water every evening for 4 very dusty travellers! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially when we arrived after dark due to a luggage mishap.

We loved everything! When we arrived by the reception, the owner, a very sweet ma’am, provided us with everything we needed to know about our trip to Sossusvlei, she gave us a map and told us how and when to go on our trip, where to start and where to lower pressure of our tires til drive on sand. The Campsite is beautiful, most beautiful view of sunrise and sunset

What a pleasant surprise this gem of a lodge is! My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The individual huts were clean, spacious, and cozy. The best part was seeing all the animals so close! We could have sat on the deck all day just watching them come and go. The staff was always smiling and very hospitable. They were helpful answering all of our questions and directing us to the dunes in Sossusvlei and Swakopmund. This was the perfect relaxing escape we needed, away from the busy city life of Luanda, Angola!

We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. I was at one of the private campsites. Beautifully designed and built with everything an overlander could want. Absolutely superb! Sites well spaced with about 400m between sites. Highly recommended.

My wife was biten badlx by a tick in the dunes, the staff organised a Transport to the nearby Clinic at no time and no cost! Besides excellent Food and Service we were really feeling at Home far from Home!

It was the best hotel staff on our Namibia round trip !!!! Attentive, helpful, but also humorous. Our companion for the morning and dinner would probably be the employee of the year. Many thanks. The houses are very clean and the grounds well maintained. The way to the entrance of the national park is a bit distant, but for that the wild animals graze right outside the front door.
