We chose Aloegrove to relax for a couple of nights after our 1,800 mile tour of Namibia. The communication with the hosts Johan and Ivy was fabulous during the booking process. The lodge is a good 20 mins along a track, well signposted, and by this point we were used to Namibian roads, so the uneven bits were no surprise. We were greeted by staff and showed our fabulous accommodation, spacious and the attention to detail was brilliant, bubble bath for the bath with a spectacular view, beautiful quality bed linen, ground coffee etc etc etc... Everything is there that you could need! We self catered for the first night with the indoor braai, we ate at the lodge the second night, the chef made a beautiful meal and fantastic breakfast with scrambled ostrich egg. Afternoon coffee and cake is also a real treat. we joined Johan and Ivy's tour of their farm and feeding their rescued big cats. So informative about the all the animals. I highly recommend the tour, it was great fun and we learnt lots. Johan, Ivy and their lovely staff cannot do enough for the guests. On our last morning we sat down with a map with them and planned our net trip to Namibia, they shared their knowledge of the best routes and places to travel to, of course we will start and finish with a stay at Aloegrove! We stayed is some lovely places on our journey but nothing matched the luxurious experience at Aloegrove.

Our stay at Frans Indongo Lodge was truly a pleasure from start to finish. What stood out most was the staff—they were exceptional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. You could feel they took pride in their work and cared about making guests feel welcome. Their warm smiles and helpful attitude added so much to the experience. The lodge itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It's surrounded by the lodge’s private game farm, so you can see wild animals roaming freely nearby—an incredible bonus that makes the setting even more special. We left feeling rested, appreciated, and grateful for such a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Hadassa is situated within peaceful surroundings in Otjiwaronga. Guests can escape the heat with a refreshing swim in the pool. Cheetah Conservation Fund is 45 minute drive away.

A beautifully arranged guesthouse, especially the garden is wonderful. A perfect place for a relaxing stopover or a longer stay. The breakfast was also one of the best we had in Namibia. Dinner at Out of Africa just across the street was also delicious!

Where to start… we were on our way back from Etosha, we’re booked in a campsite on Waterberg plateau but quite frankly had enough and wanted to sleep in a bed after a couple of too hot to sleep nights… last minute in Namibia doesn’t work very well as normally everything is full! BUT, this place with no review that looked pretty amazing came up and we took “the risk” to go. And how lucky were we!!! It was by far the best stay we had in 3 weeks in Namibia. The appartement is huge and extremely well decorated, we had some healthy goodies in the fridge, fresh flowers all over, AC in the master bedroom, view of the Savanna, everything you need is there. We had the best and most luxurious breakfast of our stay. So much love went into it!🩷 You can easily cook your own diner in the very well equipped and big kitchen. Or alternatively, have diner with the family, which we did and had a great time. We were offered laundry service if needed. The warm swimming pool was a gift from heaven for the kids! Staying on a farm was our first and it was pretty cool to see all the animals when we arrived! They also have a tiny waterhole where animals come to drink during the day and at night… I mean whaooo, we felt like we won the lottery staying there for our last night! And hope this review will make more guests feel at ease to book this place! On your way up or down from Etosha, stop there, you won’t regret it!🤩
