Warm welcoming ,The breakfast tasty, fresh, healthy with traditional Moroccan tea. The view on the breakfast area is incredible, you must see it. The location super good. Exceptional! We were delighted to stay at Kite House Dakhla. Everything is excellent, the attention, accommodation, communication, the delicious breakfast... we will definitely go back! Whether you are going to kite or visit the city, it is perfect. You feel at home immediately, with every detail of the best quality. The house is beautiful, the cozy interior design, the wonderful decoration, all the facilities, the room with an amazing view, perfect lighting, spacious, super comfortable bed, top bathroom with delicious water temperatures, as well as the kitchen and all the spaces, the terrace.... The attention is the beeest! Everything you require for a perfect stay. We only stayed one night because we missed our flight and we are so glad we found this gem in Dakhla, we would have loved to stay longer, but we will definitely be back. Despite the fact that we booked the same day at check-in time, they picked us up at the airport, and the room was completely ready! The best option in the area!!!! (we stayed in other places and this is by far the best....) go!

Dar Rio Oro was an important stopover for us, and although the host was not present, she communicated with us throughout and ensured we had all the information needed for our onward journey into Mauritania. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and offers some of the best value in Dakhla, a city where prices are often inflated. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making a clear effort to engage with us despite language barriers. They even allowed us to leave our car while we travelled to Mauritania and kindly drove us to the bus station early in the morning.

The hotel is in a central location, close to a street market, the sea front and restaurants. It has on street parking behind it. The hotel we had booked cancelled at short notice and this was the only hotel that had three twin bedded rooms available. The facilities you can expect are reflected in the price charged - £22 a room per night. The room was basic, in need of a refresh but was clean. Private bathroom and proper toilet were a big plus.
