The building is very worn out, but its a magical place for those of you who love interesting and original architecture in a not so ordinary place. I wouldn’t recommend it to those of you who are looking for a standard hotel with all modern amenities. The staff is very friendly and willing to do all that is in their possibilities to make your stay comfortable.

Riad Green House is located in the medina of Fes, the historic walled part of the city that has small narrow alleyways that are way too narrow for cars. I have a small portable hand cart for our luggage. So far, Fes has the smoothest pavement for the hand cart (some alleys in the other medinas have cobblestones). Pulling the cart through the Fes medina was a breeze. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea. Our room was a suite on the second floor of the riad. The suite consists of two bed rooms and a balcony with a view of the inner courtyard of the riad. The riad and our room were stunning! The decoration is absolutely beautiful! Very friendly and happy staff, and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Morocco. The breakfast area and the rooftop were beautiful! Convenient location close to the souks and the blue gate.
