The house has been renovated with great respect to its traditional character. There is an old wooden floor, beautiful windows and a lot of natural wood inside. Reader’s corner with armchairs and standard lamp is absolutely extraordinary. Kitchen equipment is perfect with a lot of nice cups and different sorts of glasses. Spring matress on the bed, which is always better than a foam one.

It's a very cozy house! The lodge is right on the edge of the forest, and it feels like you're sleeping right under the pine trees! Every evening, we had a hot bath right under the open sky, overlooking the stars!!! Antra, the hostess, is an amazing, warm, and hospitable person. She's an artist who creates various ceramic pieces, and they're everywhere - glasses, plates, and furniture! Everything is made with love and a big heart! I definitely want to return to this paradise! Thank you so much!

Cozy and clean apartments on the outskirts of the town, in a very quiet place, so you can sleep peacefully at night with an open window. The lock is coded, so it's easy to get in. You will find everything you need for a short stay. Personal mobile internet was not getting a connection, so Wifi was very useful. There is a shop in the building next door. Lots of parking spaces. Nearby there is a beach by the river Gauja, a ferry across the river, and walking trails both along Gauja and along Lygatne river with picturesque surroundings. It is a great place for those who like to hike.

An exceptional place in an excellent location! The house itself was immaculate, both beautifully furnished and spotless. The bedroom overlooking the forest was stunning! Everything is very well thought through, the property caters to your every need. We enjoyed setting up a fire in the evening and using the sauna in the morning for a perfect start to the day! The sauna is spacious and very comfortable. The place is based in a great location within an easy drive to Gaujas National Park.
