I would love to come back and spend more time here. It is deep in the countryside so you must bring food and provisions with you. They can provide a little barbecue on request. Once you arrive, you don't want to leave. The temperature of the lake was perfect, so clean and refreshing. There is also a hot tub and sup boards that guests can rent. The host was very responsive to my questions once I arrived. The room was so comfortable and quiet. There is a kettle, cutlery, and a fridge (although it wasn't connected and was rather hot so I didn't use it). The bathroom and towels were very nice too.

The owners of Lake and Library made our stay the absolute best of our holiday in Lithuania. We were welcomed very warmly plus the room and the whole hotel are designed with great taste. Speaking of taste, the breakfast on offer was excellent indeed. It was my birthday on our last day and the owners went above and beyond to make my birthday breakfast special. Also during our stay they organised our visit to the Nuclear Power Plant. As you can tell, the owners are very friendly and they do whatever they can to make your stay as memorable as possible. The location is also very ideal for biking or walking around the lakes and forests that surround Ignalina. Therefore I would wholeheartedly recommend you to stay here.

Amazing place hidden in middle of beautiful nature. The host responded quickly and was kind to recommend places to visit. We stayed longer then planned.

Super welcoming hosts. The cottage is decorated in a rustic/country style. The furniture and equipment is not new, some of it is old, but everything is functional. The feeling is as if you are visiting your Lithuanian friends and they are lodging you in their garden cottage. A note for colder seasons stay - the cottage is heated by a small wood stove - so a bit of an effort to operate it. But if you are not comfortable opearating it yourself, the host will do it for you. There is an outside terrace and a grill - the setting is not super picaresque, but perfectly functional.
