Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, connect with nature, and feel genuinely cared for, Ceylon Resort Wilpattu is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend the stay and Service highly enough!

We highly suggest this place - the family and the staff were very kind and keen on catering for all our needs, including organising a full-day private safari to Wilpattu and a private transportation to Anuradhapura (with the driver accompanying us to all sites we wanted). The food is very traditional and delicious. We also got an upgrade of our room for free (to a way larger one). The transparency, contagious passion and honesty of the owner were also very much appreciated. The vibe of this place is very family-like and the location is perfect to visit the area. 10/10

Wild wadi is the place if your up for a wild get away. Surrounded by the beauty of wildlife and nature wild wadi has alot to offer. At our stay we were able to travel all the way to thambapanni via safari and breakfast in the jungle. Towards the evening kayaking in the lagoons and later endless boat rides over the lagoon followed by delicious seafood bbq for dinner. My family was able to relax and have an awesome time at our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again.

We loved the friendly and attentive staff. We were always very well looked after and Suga and all staff took great care of us and were very kind. We loved the location, very peaceful, in the middle of the jungle and very beautiful! The staff prepared amazing dinner and breakfast for us - quality food and very big portions! Suga organised a half day safari for us and it was smooth and we had a great time even in the rain. The room was beautiful and comfortable, we loved looking out to the trees from the room.

The owner and her family are such warm people that made us feel truly welcome. The food at the hotel was great! The hotel itself was close to the park, and had a very zen feel. The hotel has only been open for 3 months so everything was brand new. We booked a safari with the hotel and this was great as well, with an amazing breakfast to go. We would recommend it to everyone!

We had a wonderful time at Ceylon Wilpattu Safaris and lodging! The team are all so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious!! The buffet was so great - all local home made dishes. We had two amazing days on safari which was arranged by the hotel - the food they packed for our trip was also great. To top it all off - I was celebrating my birthday while staying and the team even arranged a surprise cake for me! Thanks so much!!

Very nice experience we had at this accommodation 👌 The members of the staff are very kind and you get this family warmth feeling when you stay at this place. Dinner is just amazing!!❤️ homemade food full of different flavors and made with a lot of love. For the rest everything was well arranged with the safari tours. 100% recommended 👌

Great place and great host! Thanks Anton for hosting us :) only 3 km from Wilpattu park entrance, small but very nice sweeming pool, and a quite place with wonderful pond with birds on the backyard.
