We had the best stay here in Sri Lanka so far! It was my boyfriends birthday and I only asked for a fruit basket to surprise him, but the staff had decorated our room with balloons and they sang happy birthday to him. We were both very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with arranging a safari. Which we can also recommend because we saw lots of elephants from very close. Also the hotel it self is very nice. The pool and the room were lovely. We had a very nice sleep in the comfy bed. So we definitely recommend staying here!

I wish I could give more Stars. What a fantastic place this is. Nothing was to much. The food was really delicious and we felt so welcome. This is dat ooit the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. You can also book the safari for the wildpark with them. Sandy came with us and we enjoyed every minute of it. In the morning they took us to the mountain to see the birds in the area. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay

Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. perfect location! ride to the ancient city is absolutely gorgeous and you can use the bicycle they have. hosts were super friendly, helpful and showed me around. really would recommend this place. breakfast was tasty and a lot. they even made me a lunch package.
