It is a really comfortable and well-equipped house in the jungle with singing birds outside, not so far from the road. It's cool and chill place with comfortable bed and pillows. The owner is very kind man, his sister is the best! They delivered us local food from the restaurant and we didn't have to go out, so nice! They did their best for our good rest! Thank you!

This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed at. Recently renovated, no expense has been spared to bring the Colonial mansion back to life. The attention to detail is remarkable. All the services are extraordinary and if I ever have a special occasion in Sri Lanka it will be at the Grand Walawwa.

This hotel is really great 😁 The host is very kind. When we got there we got cold towels and a welcome drink. The room is amazing! We just got our own tuktuk here so driving it was new. The hotel is on a top of a hill so the drive is a bit difficult. But the host and other people helped us.

EVERYTHING ! People there were so lovely and care taking. Clean and helpful . Location is so calm and quiet as well. It's not very far from the airport or railway station.

Beautiful place, beautiful swimming pool that was extremely clean. Very hospitable host. Beautiful nature around including a big river where you can see people bathing and having fun. It was our first night in Sri Lanka and we loved it.
