The best stay we had in Sri Lanka! The room and all the facilities were so comfortable. Room was a bit small but enough to rest, bathroom was enormous and probably the best I've seen in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive, he welcomed us with fruit from his own garden - lovely!

We had the best stay at Maritime Nest Cabanas ! I really recommend staying there if you want to be close to Tangalle and the beaches nearby AND staying in a super peaceful and incredibly beautiful environment, close to the lagoon. The cabanas are beautiful with a super nice terrace, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The pool and the common parts are beautiful too. All the staff members were lovely and very caring, answering our every needs, and helped us organising scooter rental and tours. + the breakfast is huuuuge & delicious, we also had one dinner at the restaurant, a big fresh fish, it was awesome. I obviously recommend 1000% !

We feel very lucky that we had a chance to stay here. Could not recommend it more. We've got everything we needed. There was hot water with powerful steam, A/C, adapters for electricity. You can also order breakfast, lunch and dinner for really fair prices. The property is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area with peacocks and nature all around you. We've got privacy and the owners were very helpful, kind and sweet. We also rented a scooter from them. When we arrived we were offered a welcome drink which was very pleasant. When we were leaving they also arranged a tuk-tuk for us to go to the bus station. If you have a chance to stay here - do it. It was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. We feel thankful and we would be happy to come back one day.

Very friendly owners couple. Owner capable of arranging turtle watching trips, tuktuk rides, etc. Able to provide truly excellent dinner with fresh seafood caught by himself earlier that day (unlike many other places claiming the same). Accommodation has a brilliant location, just a few minutes walk from bus station. Perhaps a bit spartan, but does the job, ideal for those traveling on shoestring. Excellent value!

We had the best stay at Maritime Nest Cabanas ! This place is the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality and friendliness. In all of our travels we haven't experienced the same level of genuine care, interest and helpfulness. The room is spacious and in its own building. Hot water, fan, aircon and tea and coffee facilities. Parking our tuktuk was easy. It's a few minutes walk to Silent beach which is easily the nicest beach in Sri Lanka. We extended our stay here because we loved it so much. Would not hesitate to come back.

Meters away from the beach. Excellent car parking facilities. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant and it was really good. The stuff organized very quick laundry.
