The Tara Waterfall has a nice view to the tea fields and up to the Waterfall, really stunning in the middle of nowhere. If you want silence and avoid from too much hectic and tourism (like in Ella) this is the right spot! Their service was very kind, too :-)

The people running this retreat were so lovely and so helpful. The pool is exceptional. The pools in many, places we stayed we diisappointing as they were smaller than they liked in the photo. This pool was the reverse, it's large and gorgeous, you can actually swim lengths

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

The room was massive and had every amenity you could need. It was nicely tucked away from the main street of Ratnapura so had beautiful views and plenty of space. When I booked, I asked Bhanu the host for assistance in booking some gem tours while I was there. He came through and helped me organise the best tour guide in Ratnapura, Sampath Perera. Breakfasts were delicious, affordable and so much food that I was not hungry for dinner on either of the days I stayed. So glad I decided to stay here, could not recommend this place more!

Sampa is the king of good service! He knows all the good spots in his home town and helps you with whatever you want! He showed me the best Sri Lankan fruits and food, dropped me of for climbing Adam’s peak and gave me a memorable scenic tuk tuk ride!

We made our booking late at night, and even at that hour, Malith was incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was also very polite and accommodating. After making the reservation, I called to confirm and everything went smoothly. The room was perfect — very clean with fresh linens, and the overall atmosphere from check-in to check-out was superb. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this place to others and return again ourselves.
