A Perfect Start to Our Sri Lanka Adventure – Moni Farmhouse, Wilpattu Our stay at Moni Farmhouse in Wilpattu was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean, cozy and with AC. The workers are very warm and helpful. They prepare home-made food which is amazing. Also we arranged with them a safari which we had to cancel because of sickness and they helped us in everything without any charge.

Clean room, very friendly host and very cute puppies !! (called Sera and Nora) We are two girls and felt very safe! The host was very helpful and helped us with arranging a safari. The safari was super nice, we saw the leopard, elephant and our favourite: the sloth bear. For a full day safari they arrange breakfast, lunch and some snacks so it was good worth of money.

A really nice place with spacious rooms and huge beds . It is conveniently located near the Wilpattu National Park entrance. We asked the manager to help us book a safari the next day, he got us in touch with a tour operator and we got everything booked within 30 mins. Highly recommended!

It was an awesome stay. Close to the Nationalpark, directly in the nature. On our first day we did a little walk to the Nationalpark by foot and discovered the near by Lake. There is not much to Do arround but we enjoyed this quiete stay. When its dark you hear and See the nature arround. With moskito spray its a awesome experience. Hashan was Our service, Our tuktuk driver and Took us to Safari, which was beautyful. The breakfast, Lunch and dinner was delicious and didnt cost much.

We can a 100% recommend this resort for everybody. Stayed here 2 days and the personal does absolutely everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food they serve is really tasty and there is a evening buffet that you certainly will enjoy. You can have a nice walk to create your own mini-safari. The owner, Roshan, is a really nice guy and helped us with everything. Booked an amazing safari as well with a driver who new the animals and their patterns very good allowing us to see them all. Nothing but praises.
