This place is truly a honeyland. The drive to the hotel offer beautiful views (see photo attached). We were met with great hospitality and kindness. The family was very welcoming, and their presence created a comfortable and homie atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner was great. Our room was in a new building on the property (see second photo below). It was big and luxurious, and exceeded our expectations. I would like to thank the Honeyland family again for our stay, and their kindness.

Our time in this place was truly special , even though we’ve been there only one night we was amazed by how kind and helpful peoples are there . We ate delicious dinner and breakfest in the middle of jungle with great views. Prices was also really friendly. We will back there for sure if we ever visit Dambulla again. 10 out of 10 !!!

This place is THE BEST! Don’t doubt just book :). The area is amazing and the Family is the kindest. You will stay right in the middle of a real Sri lankan farm. It is quite, nature is all around and Ruwan will make time for you to show the surrounding land. You Will meet other farm people that live there. Ruwan is amazing and his Family also! We can’t discribe how lovely this place is. The food they made for dinner and beakfast was sooo good! The room is amazing. You Will have a beautiful clean room with a big window so you can see the land from your room. It is really as amazing as on the pictures and Ruwan and his Family make it even more special.. thank you Ruwan for the beautiful soul you have and everything you shared with us. You now really have 2 Belgium friends and we will keep in touch. Thank everyone for us that made us feel so welcome!

Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

We had the pleasure of being some of the first guests at this wonderful retreat in Sri Lanka, and we absolutely loved it! The food was exceptional, with a great variety of fresh and delicious Sri Lankan dishes. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We were also impressed by the attention to detail, including the information provided about the trees on the property, including their Latin names. The architecture was not only pleasing to the eye but also absolutely functional. Additionally, the manager went out of their way to ensure our well-being, as they complimentary called a doctor to check on me after I caught a cold during the train ride. We can't wait to return and experience the hospitality and beauty of this accommodation facility again!
