Really nice and modern Villa with good swimming pool and attentive staff.

We landed here just after a long 10h flight and it’s such an oas. It is calm, clean, nice pool and absolutley wonderful staff. A big and much needed plus is the free tuc tuc service since the hotel is a bit outside. Breakfast was also great with several options.

We've spent our first days of our trip here and it couldn't have started better. Nelson, Alexandra and their amazing team made us feel like at home. Their mentality that you come as a guest and leave as a friend is really shown in everything they do. Beautiful setting, delicious breakfast and dinners and above all the passion and kindness that we've got by everyone at La Perla left us speechless. We will be back. Best accommodation in Sri Lanka on our trip. Anton still talks about the coconuts :-)

Dear Nishanthi and Wasantha. You are the greatest hosts we’ve ever met! All the credit for our amazing holiday must be given to you as it was the first place we stayed during our travel, and the vibe you shared with us didn’t leave us up to the last day in Sri Lanka. Your attitude is incredible. We felt like being at home. The way you met us the first day (with flower garlands which smelled like heaven), the way you treated us during the stay (ready to help with literally anything we needed) - everything breathed love at your house. Your attitude really exceeds all the expectations. To those who are considering a stay at the place, please, don’t hesitate. This is going to be an eye-opening experience to what a 10 out of 10 is. No, this can’t be 10. We would give the hosts 10 times more if it was possible❤️. As for the cleanliness - it was incredibly spotless. This was the cleanest place we had ever visited throughout all our journeys. As for the breakfasts - oh, this was something unbelievable. Everything was so tasty, served so neatly. And the balcony, where our breakfasts were served, overlooks the lovely garden, so you can see some lovely birds, squirrels and enjoy the sounds of them while having your breakfast. They give you a small bag where you can put whatever you haven’t eaten, so you can take it with you to the beach or put it in the fridge (the room facilities are also provided) and eat it later. Another thing, which is worth mentioning, is the fresh flowers arranged around the room and on the balcony. So the place smelled so fresh, so nice. You can really see that they pay great attention to detail. Regarding the beach, it’s a three-minute walk from the house and you are going to be really surprised in a good way as it is not crowded at all and, as a result, very clean. So you can enjoy your time at the beach with no plastic thrown around it. There are also good cafes along the beach with quite affordable prices.

Room 10/10 (clean/spacious/comfortable bed) Bathroom 9/10 (clean/warm water) Dining area 10/10 (spacious/outdoor open to the garden) Swimming pool 10/10 Location 10/10 (quite place/near to kosgoda beach you can walk or ask them to drop you by tuk tuk) Family owners were very kind and won't let you feel uncomfortable they always approach you before you ask and will start conversations with you and make you feel like you are at home They have a wonderful river safari you can watch the local and the tropical immigrant birds and not to forget the breathtaking sunset (its a must to take the tour you wont regret it)

We just spent 2 days at Sea Turtles Bungalow with our family and had the best experience in Sri Lanka. The place was clean, located close to the main road and beach and the highlight of our stay was the hospitality. Chamara and Sithumini were the kindest and most accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. We are 2 meals there to experience the local Sri Lankan food and hospitality - they outdid our expectations. The cooked us the best Sri Lankan food and helped us with the smallest of requests - from calling tuk tuks for us to giving us the best beach recommendations. Highly recommend this place for couples, families and friend groups.

Black Monky Villa is a hidden gem! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s a calm and peaceful place to unwind. The owner is super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The meals were delicious, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we 100% recommend this place!
