Chatau and his family are incredible hosts. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were invited to a Christmas dinner that they prepared for the whole hotel. He helped us during the week we stayed there with everything from renting scooter to surf lessons for a good price. He is genuinely interested and wants you to have a good stay. Even though the accommodation is quite close to the busy road we couldn’t hear it from our room. The accommodation is also very clean, spacious and totally worth the money. Would definitely stay here again if going to Midigama. Thanks again for everything!

I just love the vibe. The people are amazing, it's off the main road so nice and quiet, super green with lots of trees and a jungle like feeling. The yoga shala is amazing with lots of room to either do yoga classes in the morning and sound baths every now and then. Three lovely dogs and a not so busy but super delicious restaurant next by.

I originally planned to stay for just one week, but in the end I stayed for an entire month. The host family is incredibly loving and helpful. Every day I received a delicious, freshly prepared lunch, and my laundry was always washed very thoroughly. I’m especially grateful to my host brother, who helped me with many practical things, such as renting a scooter or visiting a temple together. Even though there is a small language barrier, my stay was truly wonderful and enriching. The accommodation is perfect for anyone who enjoys a calm and peaceful atmosphere and for those who want to get a little closer to the local culture. I can really recommend this place!

Our stay at Hotel Helani was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making us feel so welcome. The breakfast was fantastic, and I especially loved spending time by the pool at night—it was so relaxing and serene. The rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully designed, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Helani to anyone visiting down south Sri Lanka. It was truly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had, and I have to emphasize again—the pool is simply divine! Plus, the room service was outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again!

I had a great stay at Calm Nature Resort— so good that I even extended my stay! The place itself is brand new. The facilities are great— there is a shared fridge and washing machine/clothes rack to dry your clothes. Plenty of space to park! The room itself had a ceiling fan, a double bed with mosquito net, a desk, plenty of space to store clothes and an en-suite bathroom. There is a big shared balcony which was our favourite place to spot monkeys in the trees, squirrels and listen to the birds in the morning. It’s a quiet piece of paradise and tucked away from the road :) It’s about midway between Midigama village and the beach (10 min walk or 2min scooter) There’s plenty of small shops along the road to buy most amenities— there is one just next to the house with definitely the best selection (would recommend!) Would like to thank the beautiful family of this place for having us, and for giving us such warm hospitality and so much great food. Would highly recommend this stay!!

Loved my stay so much I want to come back :) the property is brand new, everything is designed to a high standard. Feels super homely and very peaceful with your own little garden. Pramith is very welcoming and great to deal with, making everything super easy. I actually extended my stay and can’t wait to come back :)
