I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

If we had not already planned our next hotel (road trip) we wouldhave stayed longer!. It‘s a little oasis, with so much kind attentive staff and amazing food, and incredibly clean pool. But the room really blew us away😍 we did not expect the rainfall semi-„outdoor“ shower, this was a beautiful suprise. The beds were very comfortable! Everything was so clean in the room and it smelled amazing. I wish we couldhave stayed longer.

I loved this small personal hotel. It has 4 bedrooms and it was just perfect. A cute pool that was big enough to keep cool, but you could also swim even if not an Olympic size..The staff are so friendly and if you wish will address you by name. I loved the fresh baked fruit bread at breakfast, my personal choice of a yummy option. Made by Susan in house. The beach is right outside the second area of the property. Local to other places to visit and eat if you are out for the day. It's such a lovely place to stay, I will be returning on my next visit.
