I stayed at Royal Villa Polhena as a solo female traveler from Russia and had a wonderful experience. The villa is clean, quiet, and just a few minutes’ walk from Polhena Beach, with friendly and helpful hosts who made me feel completely safe. It’s close to the highway and bus stop, and Madiha Beach and The Doctor's House are within walking distance. I would highly recommend this villa to solo travelers excellent value for money ! 🙌🙌

The location of the house was perfect. Facing the ocean and despite on the main road no noise . The home carer welcomed us with fresh coconut and helped us to settle in this superb new villa. From the moment I arrived, everything about this hotel felt welcoming and comfortable. The room was spotless, and the bed was so soft and cozy — I had one of the best sleeps in a long time! We had a truly lovely stay at Nomads Hideaway. The villa is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by greenery, giving it a calm, tucked-away feeling. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this space—from the natural materials to the cozy layout and relaxing garden nook. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and available when needed, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. Although it’s just a short distance from Matara and the beach, the villa feels like a quiet sanctuary—ideal for resting, reading, or simply being present. We only stayed for two nights but felt deeply nourished by the experience. We’d happily return for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and soulful place to recharge.

It's a nice place with very kind and helpful staff. We were able to do our laundry. The location is also quite nice, on a calm street, close to the beach. Parking is possible. We also got a free room upgrade.

The property is gorgeous!!!! The rooms are modern and clean and beautifully decorated all with spacious balcony’s/ terraces looking into a front garden filled with trees and flowers and grass. Really beautiful. You can also hear the sea from the property which was amazing. Secure parking inside gated property too which was a plus.

The apartment was clean and well-maintained. The owner and their family were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The space was comfortable and provided a peaceful atmosphere. Having the entire floor, including a kitchen, balcony, and parking, was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and safe stay❤️

Nice accommodation for surfers, a friendly host, five minutes walk from the surf spot. Comfy beds, a parking lot for your bike, and a great bonus - a working telescope to watch the stars! The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

loved the location, and that we could have our whole family stay in the small villa. its a little shoved together but its perfect. Big bathroom and great terrace and parking is a bonus. So close to the beacj but far enough away from the noise of the parties in some of the hotels. Right by the supermarket so you can get anything you need. The kitchen facilities were also perfect so you could cook at the villa if you wanted to. Great space.

Kaminrich hotel is one of the best hotel in Polhena. Reasonable prices. Honestly I am so happy we found this place.. not only that but also they gave us an early check in. helped very nice, friendly staff. We felt special from the beginning to the end.. Spacious garden with a pool. Surely can make you feel like you home. The room was very spacious super clean. As well the pool too. They have a parking area. Thank you Kaminrich hotel for making our stay comfortable. Hope to visit you again.❤
