The headline is - if you book to stay here you won’t regret it. This is the only 10/10 review I’ve ever given. This place is for you if you like…beautiful views, great food, comfortable beds, interesting activities, relaxing by the pool, excellent massages. The staff are the warmest and most helpful people who genuinely take pride in their work and support each other. Special mention to Rushanthi, Nadan, Shiva and Janarthan but all the staff are helpful, nothing is too much trouble, including helping us find the best dosa we’ve ever had in the local town of Hatton. Highly recommend the tea tour, we learnt so much, and the local self-guided walk.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The location is incredible! Right next to a lake, with the most amazing view. Maskeliya is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka, even more stunning than Ella or Nuwara Eliya. I would truly recommend everyone to visit this area. The house itself is new, clean, and in excellent condition. It has two floors, with two large beds and one smaller bed. Perfect for a group or a family. The view from the beds is breathtaking, exactly like in the pictures. What made our stay even more special was the owner, priyanga. He is such a kind, caring, and attentive person. You can really feel how much he enjoys taking care of his guests. I highly recommend letting him cook for you. His food is absolutely delicious, even better than what you would get in a restaurant nearby! He cooks like a professional chef and can prepare dishes the way you like. Also European style and not too spicy if you prefer. We felt so comfortable and happy during our stay. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely come back again. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for this beautiful time! ❤️

The property itself is well maintained, boutique and the service beyond excellent! Unfortunately we went there during the cyclone, so weren’t able to enjoy the facilities or the town at all. It was raining heavily, and the staff took their utmost care of entertaining us and making sure we were comfortable. They constantly checked and updated us, and placed our safety first. The food, service and tea were exceptional. Highly recommend

We had a great breakfast ( try the sri lankan one !) and our diners at the homestay were also delicious. The owner does everthing to make the clients feel at home at his homestay ! Everything was absolutely perfect at this hotel: quiet and peaceful location with surrounding tea plantation, fresh air, excellent, very helpful and friendly staff (thank you Anjana for coordinating our stay), tuk tuk available on call, fantastic food with really royal breakfast and other meals too, we became addicted to your mixed seafood soup served with toasts. Definitely a place to stay longer than just two nights, ideal to experience slow travel.

👍 this paradise deserves a six star review. The resort is built in the middle of a dense forest. So you are literally immersed in a therapeutic trance of water running, birds chirping and critters singing all day and night. The basic room is luxury in size, with a garden separating the ensuite toilet shower. The breakfast, lunch and dinner can be adjusted to your dietary requirements. There's a chemical free swimming pool that uses water from the mountains. Then there's a natural pool with water directly flowing down from the mountains. Ashley, the resort manager, has a heart of gold and he leads a team who will contort themselves to attend to your needs. The staff were just common village girls and boys, and they deliver friendly yet professional quality service, considering their humble beginnings. So tip them generously. Dilan, the massage therapist does a massage truly reflecting Sri Lanka's spirit -- relaxed, gentle and yet to the point. After the massage, you can use the wet and dry sauna. If you are keen to try Ayurvedic treatment, simply ask. It's a perfect getaway from city hustle bustle and paparazzi. A sanctuary for the soul. A place to heal your spirit.
