What a perfect place to stay! The rooms are fantastic, the location is great and you feel like you are in a magical place! We spent there the new year and it was so much fun, we celebrated with the stuff and it was one of our best and unforgettable memories from Sri Lanka! In addition, Ishan, the manager, is truly an amazing person who will help you with everything! I felt sick during my stay and he was so emphatic and helpful in the situation, and him and the rest of the team made our stay unforgettable. The hostel is gorgeous and beautiful. Room is big and comfortable. Hot water is satisfying. All the staffs are so kind and friendly. They serve us the dinner even at 9 o’clock until we finished our massage. Meals are simple but delicious. The only pity for us is that we only stay one night! I hope I can visit Sigiriya and stay in this hostel.

The view from the hotel is fantastic. Good location - it is close to the Lion Rock. There is a big gift shop and a nice cafe with hammock in 5 minute walk. Very peaceful and beautiful place. The guy from hotel kindly helped me to organise transport to Trincomalee. People who work there are very welcoming. The room was clean and spacious with good furniture, stylish. Good bathroom with hot water. The bed had a mosquito net. There was coffee, tea and kettle inside the room. They provide breakfast with the view over Lion Rock which is very beautiful.

Breakfast was excellent: a lot of different dishes, tea, coffee, milk and lemonade. For one person it’s more than enough. The staff is very friendly, the owner helps every time for each guests with transportation, excursions and transport to the dinner on dark time - because it’s dangerous to be on a road after 11 pm due to elephant attack. I really like this place - the location is very close to lion rock, you can get it by step. the room has soap, shampoo, mini bar for extra money - tea, coffee and sugar. the light in room is good, conditioner working, mosquitoes blanket is present. The hotel’s garden is very beautiful. I spent nice time in the Rate Sigiri Rock Side Home Stay!!!

I stayed at Saman's homestay for 5 days. I can only thank Saman and his family for all their availability. They supported me in everything I needed, and with all the doubts I had. They booked me the ecopark, dambulla, pollonaruwa, pidurangula, Lion rock, bus to Kandy, cooking class, ayurveda SPA, everything, with the best prices! The garden is super relaxing to rest, read a book, have breakfast. The room with private bathroom has everything you need and is very clean. I had dinner one night and it was delicious. They also washed some clothes. Without a doubt, staying at this homestay made my trip wonderful and special. Once again, thank you! Samam, I'm waiting for the photo when you eat the mango!!!
