This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

This place is perfect. Its a real hidden gem, i would have stayed a lot longer if i knew how good it was. The service was pretty good and the communication with the owner was easy and he arranged everything we needed. I reccomend to stay here for a couple of days and enjoy the pool and the wildlife around the property

The property is in a perfect place for a sunrise view with mountains right in front of you once you wake up with a nice pool ! The peacocks and the other animals are around you in their normal habitat making it a great experience as well as the breakfast is served in a massive floating platter. The bed is comfortable and the villa is perfect for family or a friends. The breakfast and the dinner was great lots of variety !

Staff at this property truly go above and beyond for the customer to enjoy their stay and do so from the heart. Special thanks to our target shooting “coach”. We loved the rustic cottages, the garden, the facilities ( pool, badminton, playground, archery and target shooting) and the view of the waterfall. We had tea, dinner and breakfast and everything tasted great. Upon request, the staff took the trouble to go get a special treat that my husband wanted to taste. It appears that this new resort is very much interested in sustainability and integration in the local community. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it to all.

Amazing place! Definitely worth the trip off the beaten track. Local villagers so friendly and this ecovillage grows everything themselves. The food is amazing! We wish we had time for the cooking class. Very well designed with many common areas that you always feel you have private space with amazing views.
