We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. There are only 6 rooms so it’s very peaceful. We had a room on the first floor with fabulous sea and beach views. All of the rooms have these views. The sunsets are amazing! The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are extremely spacious and very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean. The owner is Austrian which may account for the very high standards of fittings and no decor. The pool and gardens are lovely with plenty of du beds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. It’s not it the town center but there are several beach restaurants within easy walking distance and it’s very easy and cheap to order a Tuk-Tuk via Uber, costing about €1,50 each way, to the town center. We very much recommend enjoyed our stay here and are quite certain that it is one of the nicest hotels in this area.

A luxurious mini-hotel in a quiet location right on the lake shore. There are only 2 rooms, so 7 days out of 10 of our stay, we were the only guests. A large green area with lots of birds and other animals. An open-air pool with a stunning view of the lake. Very polite staff, always ready to help. The food is quite varied: very tasty local and European dishes. Meals are prepared especially for guests right before serving. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, even pool slippers. No issues with hot water. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the nearest supermarket is a 25-minute walk. By tuk-tuk, it's 15 minutes to Hikkaduwa center and 30 minutes to Galle. The hotel is away from tourist spots, making it the perfect place for a quiet getaway or retreat.

Beautiful building and surroundings. Very quiet. 5 min with the tuktuk to the center or a nice 30 min walk (when the Sun is not too strong). Very nice hosts. Excellent food.

Welcoming, Great vibes. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights or even weeks. Situated 2km away from the beach is the perfect location to chill and explore the surroundings. The hostel is in front of a beautiful lake where you can take a kayak or a small boat and navigate the water. The structure has a beautiful kitchen where you can prepare your meals and the spacious single rooms are ideal for a nice rest. The staff are doing a good job by maintaining the hostel in great condition, also they are very helpful with information and giving you the feeling of being in a family environment!
