Excellent property near forest which is very well maintained . The best part of our stay is our super host . He takes extremely good care of his guests esp my sick family member . Dinner and breakfast are SriLankan meals which we thoroughly enjoyed . He arranged safari for us with a talented driver who can spot even hiding animals . we had the best yet affordable safari with him

The whole stay was just amazing. The cottage itself resembles a countryside home vibe and the owner is the most friendly and welcoming person. He arranged us a great full day safari, which was also nothing less than amazing. We then had dinner at the property, the owners family prepared wonderful Sri Lankan curry with rice. Everything about this place is worth it!

This stay was a great experience! The accommodation is a beautiful oasis, and the cottage was very modern and clean. Communication online was good. Leel adviced us to do an afternoon safari instead of morning. Happy we listened to him! We saw around 40 elephants, a crocodile and many other animals. The food prepared by Leels mother was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, both dinner and breakfast. Such a lovely woman! The driving that Leel arranged was in a modern, compact minivan, with belts and aircondition. Driven by his nephew in a safe manner. He picked us up in Ella, and drove us to Yala. The day after he also drove us to next location. Incredibly kind. Bring bug spray!!

Beautiful place to stay, with amazing attention to detail, from the artwork to the homemade soap. The staff made us feel so welcome and the service was thoughtful and lovely, nothing was too much. Last minute organising a safari for us, which was amazing! Food was delicious and as good as the reviews we had read. Cannot recommend this place more and wish we had organised a longer stay here than the one night we stayed. They even gifted us some flowers for our stay! Also loved the dogs too.

With out a doubt one of the best locations in Sri Lanka where we have stayed in the last 3 weeks! A big room, which was extremely clean. Great bed, and perfect shower! And really close to the park. The manager and his team do everything to help you out for the park visit. And the chef makes sure you don’t have to go to the town. By the way; there isn’t anything in the town anyway, so better stay at the hotel for lunch and dinner. 👍🏻
