Super tranquil experience, high up in the jungle. The location was idyllic especially in the tropical rain. We really enjoyed bird watching from the balcony, and the food at the cafe / breakfast. Really accessible and the hosts were so helpful. Such a great escape!

The property is a homestay and Mona is an excellent host. We were treated like family and even though we had some difficulty reaching the location she followed our journey and sent someone out to guide us. When we arrived it was late but she still went out of her way to serve us a tasty local dinner and breakfast. The location is very remote and the natural pool with small waterfall on the property is something we enjoyed immensely. Thank you again for your hospitality and highly recommended!

Decided to visit the Fleming Resort, situated between Norton and Ginigathhena, in the Ranges of the Samanala Kanda (Adams Peak). We made a reservation for two rooms for our family of 5. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and each room had its own balcony to view the Norton Bridge mountain range from the balcony. The best part about this resort, the owner and his wife are super friendly and made us feel very homely. All the rooms have a mini fridge to store refreshments and also have an attached bathroom with hot and cold water showers. The bathrooms are super clean. Meals are provided on request at reasonable rates. The foods provided are very delicious and real Sri Lankan style dishes are served. The resort also provides free WiFi throughout the property, and free private parking for guests who drive in. A must go place with the family. My ratings are as follows: Rooms: 5/5; Cleanliness 5/5, Service: 5/5; Location: 5/4. Close attractions are Aberdeen falls, Norton Bridge, Laxapana Falls.

Despite the cyclone wreaking havoc in and around the property, Latha and her team ensured we were safe, served us warm food and even ensured we got snacks and warm water despite power cuts and network shortages. We really witnessed a warm home like environment at Kithulvilla and I cannot recommend it enough. If you want a home away from home, with warm and kind people taking care of you, Kithulvilla is the place to be.
