During my recent stay I had the pleasure of interacting with Taranga, the front office in charge. Their warmth and efficiency made check-in a breeze, and throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The reception team as a whole was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, creating a comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Special mention goes to Roshan the restaurant manager, whose friendly demeanor and attentive service added to the overall exceptional experience. I highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel for its outstanding staff and impeccable service.

This guesthouse is an absolute gem. My room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely private outdoor seating area. Breakfasts were a feast! Delicious Sri Lankan dishes kept appearing on the table, and any other time of the day the family kept offering me some tea. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Sudesh’s mom. I heard great things about in the reviews and I'm so glad I decided to do it as well. It was a great experience and everything we cooked was absolutely delicious! The location, while a little off the beaten track, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. While getting an Uber or PickMe can sometimes be a bit tricky due to its more remote location, the family arranged transportation for me whenever needed. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is the incredible family who runs it. They were all simply amazing, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I honestly can't recommend this guesthouse enough. It's the perfect place to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality, enjoy delicious food, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Kandy region.

Beautiful property that felt like our own little oasis. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The shower was excellent too. Breakfast was served at your requested time and the owner offered to cook us a Sri Lankan breakfast that was really good. The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

Very friendly & helpful hosts. This place is very calm & quiet. Room was spacious & clean. They welcomed us with nice cake and tea. True Sri Lankan hospitality <3. This place is managed by siblings: brother & sister along with their parents. Really helpful people. We had breakfast and it was fabulous. Very big breakfast with lots of fruits. This was the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Value for money is over the moon. They helped us to get train tickets to Ella. Backyard garden is beautiful which opens up to a greenery view. Highly recommend this place.

My stay at Danisco Leisure Bungalow was spectacular. The family made me feel like home from the very first moment. I was alone so finding such lovely host is really a treasure. The rooms are incredible, all the furniture is brand new and the attention to detail is incredible. The air conditioning is a game changer. Also, the food is something I could never forget. The location is perfect if you want to relax by the pool in a very safe and quiet area but at the same time you want to explore Kandy during the day. Higly recommended!
