Everything! Nadee and her husband put so much effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She cooks delicious and is always quick to help. Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

Serene environment, top quality service from the lovely owner, the room was immaculate with everything we needed and very picturesque. The host even provided us with tea, water and laundry service. Possibly the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, and do not be put off by the negative reviews regarding the driveway, it is easy via Tuktuk and worth it for the views and privacy. Their tuktuk shuttle is free and available 24/7 - thank you again for a wonderful stay ❤️ the best place to eat is Ella Siyapatha Hut Restaurant. This was the most authentic meal we had that was cooked by the gorgeous family. Truly an amazing experience if you’re in Zella

The hostel is simply fantastic. The owner is incredibly warm-hearted and organizes something every day. Sometimes it's a trip to a waterfall, a hike, or a night of billiards in town. You can also suggest activities, and he makes it happen. The family dinner and cooking class were amazing. All of this makes the hostel super social, creating awesome friendships and memories. It’s clean, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is great, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and it was hard to leave. We’d come back anytime. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Delicious breakfast. Friendly host. Free parking. Plenty of birds and chipmunks around. Relatively calm area. Good value for money. Emergency lamp offered when short electricity loss occured (we learned that electricity outages are common in Sri Lanka).

The place is clean, the room is quite big compared to other places of similar price, they serve you breakfast at the room. Place is only 600m from the crowded village center. Perfect location. And they have a small parking lot too. Best part, the hosts. They help us to arrange a jeep safari for the next day in Yala National Park.

Clean property. Large room with balcony. Delicious breakfast which staff deliver to your room in the morning. Secure parking. Great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ella where there are bars/restaurants. Staff were attentive, helpful and polite. Monkeys!
