We stayed at this accommodation in Ella for a few days, and its location is simply the best. We checked out other places in the area, but nothing compares to this one. The view is absolutely spectacular, and we feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay here. The people were wonderful, and the family who runs the place made us feel truly at home. The surroundings were filled with nature, animals, and beautiful sounds, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place to stay in Ella!

Location is 20/10!! Overlooks the Nine Arch Bridge. Comfortable little hideaway on the hillside. Owners were very helpful organising tuk tuk rides and providing a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Couple of tips for travellers. It is not the easiest place to get to but owner will help you get to the property from the main road. Also not ideal for anybody with mobility problems. But this did not affect our stay. 10 minutes tuk tuk ride into Ella Town and around 15 mins to Little Adam’s Peak. 15 minute walk down to the Nine Arch Bridge.

The location is amazing. Peaceful with great views, and close access to the railway line beneath. So it is a good starting point for climbing Mount Ella and seeing the waterfall. A nice walk along the tracks or the road into town, or a TukTuk is always ready to drop or pick you up. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, they catered to my vegan preferences without hesitation. The room was new and clean and the view of the train track beneath is probably the best location in Ella. I loved relaxing on the balcony in the afternoons watching the train and walkers on the tracks.

If you are looking for a local experience in Ella this is the perfect place to stay. What impressed us the most is the hospitality of the family. We stayed for 1 night and it was pouring rain, so as we couldn't go to a restaurant the family prepared us dinner and made us feel like at home. The breakfast the next day was fantastic too. Thank you, we will surely come back!

The view from our room was beautiful! We could see Ella Rock, and Waterfalls right opposite. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The road to the cabin was an adventure by itself as we had our own tuktuk. The staff however offered us tuktuk rides to the main road and back. The breakfast was also very delicious and it was delivered to our room by our request. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We loved everything about this place. The view is unreal and Vihanga is the perfect host - we cannot rate it highly enough. Vihanga was super attentive throughout our stay, he be helped to organise tuk tuks into town, provided a laundry service and gave directions for our treks.

Delicious breakfast. Friendly host. Free parking. Plenty of birds and chipmunks around. Relatively calm area. Good value for money. Emergency lamp offered when short electricity loss occured (we learned that electricity outages are common in Sri Lanka).

The place is clean, the room is quite big compared to other places of similar price, they serve you breakfast at the room. Place is only 600m from the crowded village center. Perfect location. And they have a small parking lot too. Best part, the hosts. They help us to arrange a jeep safari for the next day in Yala National Park.

Clean property. Large room with balcony. Delicious breakfast which staff deliver to your room in the morning. Secure parking. Great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ella where there are bars/restaurants. Staff were attentive, helpful and polite. Monkeys!
