The view from this place is incredible!! Better than any other location in Ella. Nine arches bridge is just a short walk down hill. The hosts are very kind and welcoming! They also offer Tuk Tuk service which was very handy as it’s not very easy to get there by car. Ella centre is a short Tuk Tuk ride away.

He spent the whole day with us — took us to the zipline, to the waterfalls, and even helped us organize taxis and trips around the area. A beautiful place surrounded by greenery and the wonderful sounds of nature. It’s just a 10-minute ride by tuk-tuk or scooter to the center of Ella. The room is spacious and clean, with hot water in the shower. The family running this place is absolutely lovely and very helpful. You are always in touch with the daughter, who patiently answers every question and helps organize anything you might need. The breakfast is local, large, filling, and very tasty. The property is currently being expanded, and more rooms will be available in the future, but for now, there is just one. However, it definitely has great potential, and it’s a must-visit to experience the local atmosphere and meet incredibly kind, friendly, and smiling people. I highly recommend it!

The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

Delicious breakfast. Friendly host. Free parking. Plenty of birds and chipmunks around. Relatively calm area. Good value for money. Emergency lamp offered when short electricity loss occured (we learned that electricity outages are common in Sri Lanka).

The place is clean, the room is quite big compared to other places of similar price, they serve you breakfast at the room. Place is only 600m from the crowded village center. Perfect location. And they have a small parking lot too. Best part, the hosts. They help us to arrange a jeep safari for the next day in Yala National Park.

Clean property. Large room with balcony. Delicious breakfast which staff deliver to your room in the morning. Secure parking. Great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ella where there are bars/restaurants. Staff were attentive, helpful and polite. Monkeys!
