We had an amazing, authentic and memorable stay at Menara Green Inn. It felt so homely and the owner and his family’s hospitality were outstanding. The Inn is in a very quiet part of town which we thought was nice. It has a nice garden and wild monkeys on the rooftop. Amazing! It was a little far from the good restaurants but the owner drove us in his Tuk-tuk to the restaurant and picked us up again afterwards. He also drove us to the bus at the end of our stay. All free of charge and out of a good heart. We also went on a great tour with the owner to Sigiriya. Definitely recommended! And the traditional breakfast we had in the morning was so delicious! We also had fresh fruit, juice and tea every day free of charge. All in all an amazing experience for us. Thank you to the family for your hospitality and kindness.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dambulla. The hotel location is very good. The view from the room was amazing. Having breakfast right in the middle of the nature was amazing. Hotel owner is very cute family and they were so helpful. Hotel owner also does Dambulla tour with his own car. So we had the tour with him and he knows every corner so he was very helpful guide as well. We went to lots of sightseeings with him, including Cave Temple, Sigiriya, Pidurangala rock and village tour, he knew every place that i had in my list so our tour in Dambulla was perfect. Also during the conversation they heard about our 10 year wedding anniversary and they did a nice touch and congratulated as the next day. We also took hotels airport transfer, and Ella transfer we did with hotel owner. Room was clean, breakfast was perfect, we also ordered dinner and it was super tasty and super big in portion. There is nothing that they need to improve, everything was amazing. Thank you so much Madhu and Sanjee. Godak sthuuthi🙏

The place is super clean, modern, very comfortable. What makes this place even better is the host, he is super kind, and will give you the best advices around the area. He also have a tuk tuk and can drive you around if you need. There are large mosquito nets above the bed so you can sleep peacefully, the sheets smell good, there is a very welcoming atmosphere

I had such a wonderful time here. The hosts Upul and Wathsala are just so kind and warm. Rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast/dinner was typical Sri Lankan, very tasty! They made me feel like part of their family.😊 It is peaceful and out of the way from Dambulla so expect either a 25 min walk from the centre or a tuktuk. 5 min walk from the Temple. Upul kindly showed me a rock nearby (hence the name of the place) and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets. Bit of a steep climb and I probably shouldn't have done it in flipflops lol but it was so worth it.

A kind and hospitable family that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. They could organise everything for you if you so wish. The home was kept spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Dambulla itself is really nice. It provides a glimpse of real Sri Lanka and we appreciated the conversations we had with the hosts. The cave temple is near by and main tourist attractions such as Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa are a must. We saw lots of elephants at the safari, up close, and enjoyed the wonderful views of Pidurangula rock. Thank you!
