One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!

Very wonderful accommodation just outside Dambulla. The boss welcomed us with a drink and looked after us the whole time. The boss met the individual needs of each of us. The breakfasts were plentiful and always with a nice comment about Sri Lankan cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt very happy, friendly and safe here.

We had an absolute brilliant stay! The room and surrounding is great, location to Dambulla caves are walking distance (5 min away). The host family is just amazing! Really feels like they give more that 100% to the place - so many great details in the room and the place. We also had an amazing rice and curry for dinner and also got it vegan which was awesome! Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka!

The place is close enough from Dambulla, Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa, while beeing in the middle of beautiful and calm rural area, which makes it a perfect place to be while exploring the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka! The room is equipped with a good AC system, and a moskito net. You have a beautiful view from the terrace, from which you can see a lot of birds! Moreover, Ruwan is a perfect host, he is very friendly, speaks very good English and has a lot to share! He provided us with delicious and affordable sri lankan food and will make your life easy and unforgettable while staying in his place!

We spent 3 nights at the Green jungle and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were immaculate and extra spacious and so was the bathroom. The 2 rooms for guests are in an independent building with patio and tables for meals and drinks. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much for Nuan. He has his own tuk tuk so he took us and fetched us from Dambulla cave tempkes and showed us some off the beaten track places. I read about Dambulla itself that it is nothing special as a town, abd was wondering whether it would be better to choose Sigirya as a base. It wouldnt. Dambulla is logistically better and The Green jungle is perfect as the bus stops to/from Sigirya, Polonaruwa, Kandy, Colombo etc are all 100 metres away. The estate is in a jungle setting and you can have fresh coconuts and fruit growing in the property. Also we ended up having dinner in the property by the family every evening as it was delicious and Dambulla town couldnt offer better. Wifi was great. The family was lovely, the service great and it was fantadtic value for money.

The guesthouse is situated in a beautiful, well-kept garden, full of interesting plants and animals. The very kind and calm host offered us a free pick-up from the bus stop, even though our arrival was delayed. He was very helpful on the day of our visit. A good breakfast was included in the price, with a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Overall, it's a great place to stay and explore, even with children.

The couple running the homestay was fantastic! They were very welcoming, cooked really great dinner and breakfast and welcomed us with homemade passionfruit juice! They also helped to arrange a tour of the area and even drove us to our next stay in Anuradhapura themselves which was a very enjoyable drive. The room was also perfect, clean and comfortable.

This property is in a nice spot, walking distance to the main strip but far enough back to not hear traffic or mosque noise. Breakfast was traditional and lovely. The view from the room was nice. There was a verandah with chairs to sit in to relax. The shower is great and there is a nice view through the window. They offer parking outside reception. The room is spacious. If they were able to improve some of the items I’ve mentioned below this would be a great hotel.

Good for stay a night while visiting Dambulla and Sigeria sites. Big parking area. Quiet and peaceful. The team is very friendly and helpful. Nice lankan breakfast.

The room was clean, comfy beds and a small kitchenette. The location is perfect - a few steps from the main street, but it is really quiet with a nice garden. The breakfast is very good: big portions, tasty dishes both local and Western - the breakfast is served in a beautiful room with a small fish pond. There is a parking right at the entrance, and they can also provide a stay for your driver. The family who run the place are very nice.

Clean and well kept property within walking distance of main street and short tuk tuk ride to cave temple. Hosts really friendly and breakfast good. Rooms with Aircon and nice bathroom with hot and cold shower and plenty of towels. Small balcony area outside room and seating downstairs. Gated property so secure parking if you need it. Would stay again.

I definitely recommend!! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The bed very comfortable and bed sheets fresh and nice smell. Hot water for request. Free parking. Tea or coffee was awailable as well. I very happy with my stay and I will definitely come back. Thank you very much for ewerythink and see you soon.
