It is right on the Pekoe Trail and so it was really convenient. The host and his family were really warm and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food they made us was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, all home cooked. We would go there again just for the food! There was a hot shower and the room was basic but comfortable. Such good value for money.

Our stay at the villa was amazing! We stayed at the villa for 4 nights with our son, the staff were super helpful and kind ,specially Nimal was a super host! He attended us and helped us with anything we asked for and he was super friendly, kind and loving to our son. During our stay we got the whole pool for us as their weren't any other guests at the villa. The rooms and property was exactly as the pictures  and from every angle it was a picture perfect view. The whole property was spotless and super clean and well maintained. Getting a ride around the area was a bit difficult through pick me app but the staff arranged it swiftly for us. This is one of the best and most beautiful properties we have stayed so far, we really loved our stay and we can't wait to be back again.

It is very rarely when I decide to leave a rating on the internet of the places I visit. But our stay was made incredibly unforgettable by Blom, who showed us around his village, his home, village’s paddy fields etc. We also went to waterfalls and viewpoints but these you can find anywhere. What made it special was Blom’s sincere, jolly presence. A fantastic way to spend a day in Ella region!

Splendid Mum and son homestay operation close to center but in a quiet location with a park like garden setting. The hists are the nicest people, so helpful and Hessan, the son, speaks very good English. Our room was clean and very large with a balcony overlooking the garden. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast and there was enough food for six people. Would definately stay here again and definately recommend it.

Well furnished clean and cozy cottage, surrounded by siren nature. Kitchen cupboard was well organised with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans and even cooking spices. Got some much needed washing done using the washing machine and clothes dryer. Due to the wet weather in Bandarawela. Staff - Lal was very friendly and helpful. Owner was professional and prompt with directions. Authentic Sri Lanken breakfast - stringhoppers was delicious. I will definitely book this cottage again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings—it felt like a perfect getaway.
