This was by far the best stay I’ve had in Sri Lanka, and I truly wish I had stayed longer! The hostel is tucked away in a quiet, green area just outside the centre, the travel to the hostel is peaceful and extremely scenic. The place itself is beautiful, homely, and welcoming, and the host and their family are incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel immediately comfortable as a solo traveller. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the common areas are relaxing and charming. Breakfast and dinner were affordable, tasty, and filling. With the host’s guidance, I easily explored the stupas by push bike and never felt rushed or out of place. Whether you’re travelling solo or in a group, I can’t recommend this hostel enough—it’s warm, accommodating, and an unforgettable experience.

So many wonderful details that made this our perfect stay: - 12 different bird sounds recorded during breakfast (we have an app) - Pool beautiful with lovely lounge chairs and shade umbrellas - EXCEPTIONAL FOOD! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here our entire stay because it was so well done - Fresh cut flowers in the room - Full luscious live plants in the bathroom to mimic the beauty out our front patio - Large fridge and coffee and tea amenities - Luxurious stand alone tub under a sky light was well used by me - Soft full towels and bathmats - Very large room and bathroom which were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN - CLOSE to everything one travels to Anuradhapura to see; not close to the town, but no need to go to the town - Each unit has its own koi pond with plants But the best of all was the warm and genuine service. Truly a diamond.

10/10 EXPERIENCE 😍 The accommodation is very cozy and the family that welcomes you is nice and attentive. When we woke up in the morning they prepared us a typical Sri Lankan breakfast and in the afternoon we did a cooking workshop with them! We cooked together and then we ate, the result was delicious! It was very interesting to learn how to cook their typical dishes. They also gave us a lot of advice and help to prepare our route through the country the following days. I would definitely recommend this place to any friend passing through Anurahdapura. It's great if you want to really get to know the culture of the country. It is also a very central location. Thank you Gihan and all your family for making these days an unrepeatable experience! We took a friend with us.

The guy is super nice and helpful. The place is very clean and tidy. You have different outside seating and can use the kitchen. Only one room so very small and cozy. We got a tour from a family member and saw amazing spots and had a fun time. Also food recommendations were great, local food that was the best we had so far. Every bed had a fan and outlet plus locker

Our stay was absolutely wonderful — the room was very comfortable and stylish, easily comparable to a 3- or 4-star hotel. We felt completely safe and at home. The location is okay, but what makes this place truly special is the amazing owner and their lovely family. We had a fantastic home-cooked dinner, and they even helped us catch our early morning train. As we left, they handed us a beautifully prepared breakfast box with a sweet surprise :) Experiences like this are rare not just in Anueadhapura, but all across Sri Lanka. Highly recommended — thank you for everything!

The hosts are so nice and helpful. We also ate dinner and breakfast which was always delicious. We also had a parking lot where we could park our tuktuk. Definitely recommend!

Very nice staff. Arranged a great trip for us with a Tuktuk driver / guide to the old temples and stupa’s. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, free parking space, very clean etc. Thanks Sempathi!

Lovely relaxing stay that had a home stay feel. The host was very kind, she made us feel welcome and provided a good breakfast too. Spacious room that was clean and tidy, the Aircon was very good too. Onsite parking for our tuktuk and the pool was a great addition compared to others we had looked at online.

A good place. Clean place. Very calm and comfortable bed. The room size is small. But it is ok for me. Owners are friendly and supportive. Parking is small. But it is not a problem. They helped to park the car in a safe place. The food is great. Breakfast was fine.

Very friendly staff. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean with hot water in the on suite bathroom. Plenty of car parking space. Location was close to a lake. Transport was required to visit the religious sites. We would use this guest house again if we were visiting the area Good value for money.

The staff are outstanding. Friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and our vegan diet was easily catered for. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is free parking behind a secure gate, and the location is convenient for visiting local sites. The pool is beautiful and a great setting alongside which to eat a meal.
