A wonderful getaway if you are looking for a combination of nature, serenity and luxury all in one package. A pristine private beach is in the frontside of the hotel whereas lush green paddy fields can be seen in the backside. A perfect place for birdwatching and relaxation by the beach. We travelled with our son who is 20 months old, so we were very particular about the arrangements. Needless to say that everything was arranged perfectly to suit our needs. They had upgraded us to a sea view suite free of charge which was very nice of them and had arranged an extra bed in the room as well. Mr.Asoka was constantly in contact with us to ensure that we were at comfort. Mr. Nishantha took us on a short hike to Ussangoda mountain in the evening which had fantastic views of sunset and the beach. They had arranged snacks and a kite for our son on the mountain which came as a big surprise. Food was authentic and very delicious. Flexible meal times and private dining was an added advantage particularly since we travelled with a toddler. He enjoyed the pool and the private garden very much. The kitchen staff was kind enough to prepare special meals for our son. They even arranged gifts for him, a birthday cake for my husband and takeaway sandwiches which was very nice of them. All in all, I would say that this is the best holiday we had so far and we thank the whole staff at Ravana Garden for their excellent work and commitment.

Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. There are plenty of facilities to enjoy, and the pools are very well maintained, making it a great spot for both kids and adults. The staff is incredibly attentive and always ready to assist—we truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. One incident that really stood out was when my child fell sick. The 24 hr clinic assisted us in the wee hours of the morning, and we were able to get the necessary medications quickly. Thankfully, my child was doing much better within a day, and we were able to relax again knowing we were in good hands. The food is delicious with a lot of variety, and the service staff consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a family vacation—comfortable, safe, and full of thoughtful touches. Highly recommended!

One of the best property I have stayed. The staff, food and location is just spectacular. Loved every single bit of our stay there. I would personally recommend the Sri Lankan food and breakfast at the restaurant and also their amazing Pina Colada's. Their spa and its staff is so amazing that I will recommend that to everyone.

No words to describe this extraordinary place. Everything is so well done : the house is beautiful, the decorations are amazing, the room is so nice and confortable, the outdoors are magnificent especially the swimming pool, the meals are extremely good and the staff is devoted to you. It lies on the beach, which is beautiful with very few people on it, even though you cannot swim because of the waves. The spa is very good too.

Shine Wave Turtle Beach has a garden, a private beach area and a sun terrace with swimming pool and Full English/Irish breakfast in Tangalle.

Nice, clean, comfortable, quit and spacious. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Close to the beach where we saw the giant turtles. We visited several locations in Sri Lanka for the same price but less comfortable. ++ No dogs inside the gate!
