One of the reasons we chose to stay here was because we have a two-year-old and are vegetarians. The other hotels and homestays in 4000 islands didn't seem as easy for getting customized food. During our stay here, every one of our meals was delicious and made just the way we wanted. And the view we had each time was inspiring and almost luxurious. Having a small child makes traveling difficult, so we didn't want to stay in one of the backpacker hotels. And so happy we found this hotel. The pool is large, clean, and very private. The staff opened the pool for us even when we wanted to take a night swim. I can't think of the Senesothxuene Hotel without mentioning the two large 100+ year old trees that cover the front of the property. My wife is somewhat spiritual and has studied Buddhism for many years. Our first day there, she came rushing over to me, telling me she felt something powerful just looking at the tree's and focusing on them. I found it very enchanting that she felt that way. But I didn't take it too seriously. And then, on the last day of our trip, I was outside on the deck staring at the trees, and it happened to me too. It was a feeling of connection. What started as a visa run, turned into an unforgettable trip. We'll definitely be back, Mr. Phet! Thank you.

Perfect stayed! New room with air conditioning and clean room with bathroom inside, hot shower. Nice sunset & river view from balcony. The location close to restaurant, bar, shop walk from ferry 5 mins. They also have the restaurant and the food was delicious fresh and clean, staff very friendly and helpful happy to help us. Highly recommend to stay here

Coming here feels like beeing invited to the family, or a circle of new friends in a wild garden. You can connect over the shared meals, board games, boule, communal sunset watching every evening. The Hosts Alex and Laymon actively support the initiation of common activities. Still, if you retreat into the cabin, you have privacy. Breakfast is one of the best I had in Indochina, and every Dinner is a unique experience of best authentic Lao food. The private beach is small, but completely sufficient for the small island community. If you feel like going out, someone will bring you over for free in no time. Else you can chill in one of the many hammocks and just let the world flow by.

Room with a wonderful view on the sunset side and enjoyable terrace. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and all you need in a room. Mrs Chin, the owner, is very kind and we had an excellent communication with her. Definitely recommend the place

We had a really nice stay at the Baba Guesthouse. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a cosy terrace with a beautiful view on the Mekong River. The location is very good, close to a lot of restaurants. It is a bit more pricy then other stays, but definitely worth it!
