The guest house location is amazing facing to river and sunset point, the room is quite new and very clean with Air conditioning, from ferry 4 minutes walks, I only stayed here 2 nights before leaving the country, the staff very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stayed,I don't understand the negative reviews, perhaps I had a better room. This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

We had a really nice stay at the Baba Guesthouse. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a cosy terrace with a beautiful view on the Mekong River. The location is very good, close to a lot of restaurants. It is a bit more pricy then other stays, but definitely worth it!
