A Magical Stay in a Traditional Yurt on Lake Issyk-Kul – Unforgettable Experience! My stay at the yurt hotel on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan was nothing short of extraordinary! The traditional yurts provided a unique and immersive cultural experience—they were cozy, beautifully decorated with vibrant textiles, and surprisingly comfortable. Waking up to the serene views of the turquoise lake and snow-capped mountains from the yurt’s doorway felt like a dream. The food was an absolute highlight! Every meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing fresh local ingredients and authentic Kyrgyz dishes. The dinner was particularly memorable! Another unforgettable part of the trip was the horse riding excursion. Galloping through lush meadows and along the lake’s edge, surrounded by pristine nature, was both thrilling and peaceful. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured a safe yet adventurous ride, perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. If you’re seeking a blend of culture, nature, and genuine hospitality, this yurt stay on Lake Issyk-Kul is a must. I left with a full heart, incredible memories, and a deep appreciation for Kyrgyzstan’s beauty. Highly recommend!

The cabins are really really nice ( and were made by the owner ) they have everything you may need amd are super super clean there are towels, hairdryer, slipers, kettle, a nice new bathroom, and heater, among others. Breakfast is abundant and house made. Really tasty. Most of the ingredients are from the house farm of the owner , so really natural and tasty. Owner is super nice. Is a really helpful person. He can organise several things for you. We had a issue with our rental car and needed to wait for a replacement car while at this property and they were super super helpful ! Got some lift to a restaurant , also a number of a local taxi and managed to stay extra time at the room for waiting. Also, he also helped us by giving us some local contacts for the next town stop of the trip. Really nice person Location is good within bokonbayevo, good views of the mountains; walking distance from the main road, but far enough to be quiet and nice

The host is very helpful. She can’t speak english. However, her son is a very polite boy can speak english. He arranged us for the eagle hunting show and we are happy with it. The house is very clean. We washed our clothes and host provided proper place to hang for drying. Delicious breakfast was prepared. All the kitchen equipments are available. She even allowed us to go to her farm to pick apples.

We stayed two nights in Bokonbayevo. The beds were much more comfortable than they look in the pictures. The house is special, built by the owners themselves, and has a lot of character. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Ibrahim and his dad are great at chess, and Ibrahim is especially good with people — he can talk to anyone and is also fun to play cards with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Bokonbayevo

Really nice, large and clean room, all the property is nice: flowers in the yard, the dining yurta. Good food. Caring host. Not so near the bus station, but on the other hand, in a quiet residential area. Very good home made marmelade. Confortable materass. Our staying was great.

This is a very peaceful camp for anyone who does not want to stay in town, but closer to lake. Facilities are very clean, breakfast was very good, staff very helpful to make all and any arrangements. Definitely recommended.

Very friendly host, a nice homely atmosphere and great food! The facilities were very clean and comfortable. Gulmira helped us to organise an eagle hunting demonstration and there was parking within the guesthouse garden. Nice breakfast and dinner and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Large room with excellent en suite and good wi-fi connectivity in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a portable heater which is good for the chilly nights. The bed was king sized and comfortable. The room was spotless with working kettle and toiletries and plenty of storage. Car parking is extensive. The nearest eating places (and there are not many) are a ten minute walk away in the town centre but there are two excellent supermarkets on the road out towards Bishkek for getting provisions for day's hiking etc.
