We had a wonderful stay just outside Kisumu. Quiet, but still close to town. The hotel is partly still built, but we didn't see or hear any constructing. The pool is magnificent and the staff is the best you could wish for. Breakfast is a delight. We really felt like a couple of days relaxing holiday here. The hotel is surrounded by a solid wall and has 24 hour security on duty. The road to the hotel is still quite bumpy, but 2WDs and taxis go there without a problem. The room was spacious, clean and pleasant. Excellent bed and shower.

A small apartment fully equiped. Kitchen with everything needed to cook, a big fridge, microwave. Driking water was available, offered by the hosts. Living room with Tv, sofa and a desk with access to reliable wifi. Good bathroom, with a heater, super important due to the cold temperatures. Comfy bedroom. Located inside a compound with other houses, which feels very secure. Very near to the main road and located in a peaceful area. The owners were very nice, always ready to help and even arranged a visit to Kakamega Forest, the highlight of the trip.

The suite was SO spacious. We had been traveling for a while so it was so nice to feel at home. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was so clean and the shower was hot with good pressure. I would absolutely come back and would reccomend this place to anyone. It's in a quiet part of town but close to shops and markets. The service was incredible.
