Everything. Room, view, bathroom, service, everything was incredibly amazing. We have a very pleasant stay and pleasant onsen as well. Just to remind that English is very limited, but it is not a problem for us at all.

Everything was perfect, a beautiful ryokan on a great spot. Close to the stairway to mount Haguro. A beautiful walk. The host and his wife are very friendly people. And she cooks like a masterchef so book the breakfast and dinner! You have too because no other restaurants, no convientstores. We travelled by public transport. Well organized.

We stayed only one night as the conclusion of our trip in Yamagata prefecture. People from Tsuruoka are the kindness and it was confirmed by the staff of this hotel that did everything they could to make us happy. As being vegan, they prepared a special breakfast for me which was delicious. We had to leave early in the morning and they prepared it before the opening of the restaurant which was lovely. The hotel is beautiful, the room was very spacious. The onsen is amazing as well. We had a great time and we will definitely come back! Thanks again.

This was an absolutely amazing stay that far exceeded our expectations! It was our first experience in a Japanese style room and an onsen, and the room was a delight. Comfortable futons impecably laid out while we had dinner, a lovely highgloss low table with comfortable seating. The tatami flooring was a delight to walk on. There is so much attention to the little details, even slippers ready to slip into in the toilet! The dinner was absolutely fabulous. This was one of the healthiest dinners we've had this vacation, with plenty of vegetables and soup and good quality seafood. The breakfast was also more than plenty with a varried delicious buffet. And the onsen was amazingly hot and calm. I actually intended to leave after a quick dip but immediately returned to it as it was so comforting. The cool relaxation corner next to the onsen is also a very nice touch, as is the tv playing a documentary of the region's culture and nature at a suitably pleasant low volume. The staff is also amazing! Though they don't quite speak English, they are all very kind, attentive, and enthusiastically helpful. Even if you don't immediately see anyone, as soon as you're on the premise looking a bit lost, they will show up to unobtrusively offer their assistance. The souvenir shop is also a very nice touch! With many nice local foods, some of which are also used in their restaurant and nice snacks, cloth and trinkets I hadn't seen elsewhere.

A short walk from mount from the amazing Mount Haguro hike, this is a very friendly quiet accommodation with excellent English spoken. It was snowing beautifully in February but the road was cleared well. Parking is right opposite the road. The food is excellent, with local touches, and a hot bath is running round the clock.

It is a great hotel. The rooms have enough space, beds are super comfy. The hotel itself is just beautiful. The staff are awesome. We actually were late for the check out (thought it was at 11, but it is at 10) and we were sitting in the breakfast room, until the staff found us (around 10:40!) and told us we are late haha. They didn't extra charge us! The parking is free and outside. The Onsen is awesome. They give you face lotions etc. when you check in which are so nice.

The staff was very polite and friendly. We really appreciated the japanese bath after a day of sightseeing. The fact that it was just besides the train station and has a free parking was more than convenient.
