The hotel is close to the train station. The comfortable room has all sorts of practical things: a charger, a nice desk to work on, a wash line. I have been traveling 6 weeks in Japan and this was one of my favorite business hotels.

🏨 Stayed at the hotel for a short while. The staff was good, and it was possible to leave luggage for a short while. 📍 It's located extremely conveniently, just outside JR Tsuruga station. There are convenience stores and places to eat nearby, and overall all of places of interest are reachable by foot from the hotel. 🚪 The room was neat, with enough space for an open large suitcase. I'd especially like to comment on a great work chair by the desk. In my case there also was a microwave just by the door in the corridor. 🧺 There are two washer-dryer sets, with detergent automatically added, 300¥ per washing cycle, and 100¥ per 30 minute drying cycle. ♨️ There's a public bath at the premise, and in the evening the common area used for breakfast in the morning features free ramen, but both I have not tried. 🍱 Breakfast was good, with Western and Japanese options and a few buffet options, and it's possible to begin breakfast as late as 9-30.

We enjoyed a great stay at Dormy Inn Tsuruga. The staff was friendly, and the facilities were nice. It was a nice bonus to be able to use the hot spring after a long day outside!
