We had an unforgettable stay at Satsuki! The host is truly a heartwarming person – incredibly kind, caring, and always there when you need help. After we got lost while hiking, he kindly came to pick us up. We also had some amazing, heartfelt conversations with him – such a beautiful and thoughtful soul! He speaks perfect English and gave us great insider tips and restaurant recommendations. Thanks to him, we had the best Okonomiyaki at a nearby local spot – so delicious and unique! It was a completely different experience from Tokyo, where things often felt more impersonal. Here, everything was filled with warmth and sincerity. We also enjoyed a typical Japanese breakfast, which was simple, delicious, and such a special experience. It’s those little moments that make a Japan trip feel truly complete and authentic. The house is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for hiking. There are supermarkets nearby, and the whole area has a romantic and relaxing vibe. It’s an ideal place for couples, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet break from the big cities. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special – this place and its people will stay in our hearts!

Udatsuya had the homely vibe that we needed in our trip to Japan. Everyday we return to Udatsuya and immediately feel at ease. The hostess Niho was amazing, she was like the grandma to the group and kept us well-fed. She prepared us with some information about Osaka, places to visit and wander. I wake up in the early morning to take a walk around the surrounding neighbourhood, it's great seeing the daily life of Japan go about. The house itself is near several restaurants and convenience stores, only 2 mins away from a family-mart. The train station is nearby as well that has a track going down to Namba. Overall, Udatsuya was the perfect stay with great memories. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Nice house in small village. But this is not only the facilities that make this a great place, it’s the hosts! Absolutely authentic and nice people that made our stay here the best part of our trip. It feels like combining a cultural exchange program bundled in a simple nice hotel. To top it off, the food they prepare is top notch! Really fantastic!!!!

Just everything! The service from all the staff was amazing. They are highly professional and honestly sympathic! We had great conversations. The food was delicious, the ambiente and accomodation were beautiful and unique. We had no worries at all during our stay here. The Japanese hot pot was an amazing experience!
